One of my ate's padala for me is a kisarazu cat's eye dvd.  Actually, i was asking her to find me a "letters from iwo jima" dvd.  during one of our chat, my ate told me that she have recently watch ninomiya's letters from iwo jima, they rented the dvd.  that's why i ask her to buy me one.  sadly, after a week of searching for the said dvd, she still haven't found one, but saw a one of sho sakurai's dvd.  i was thinking ehhhh!! they already have yatterman?? (i wish) but no.  whywas i thinking yattterman??  because she told me it's his new movie ( as if she knows sho' new movie neh!! ).  then she told me the movie's plot, thats when i realized it was kisarazu cat's eye movie.  so i was like yatta!!! it was lucky that they have that dvd in dubai.  that's why i asked her to buy that instead of iwo jima.  ai told me i can buy iwo jima dvd here so it's okey.  she send the dvd thru my uncle who went home for his summer vacation.  the movie was crazy as the jdrama but fun.  we get to see bambi as an old man and also in shorts ( hehehe parang ang sagwa!! ).  all in all it was funny, i enjoy it more since i understand it better than the drama.  Happy!! :D

saw arashi in one of my niece children's mag, Otaku.  while waiting for my mom, my niece was browsing one of her magazine purchases.  that's when she shouted "ninang cho, arashi!!" pointing at the mag.  ofcourse i have to read what's writen.  so i took the mag from her.  i think they should ask arashi fans to provide them better picture neh!!

It's been a while since i made/write or update my multiply.  Been quite busy with lot of stuff. anyways, my mom and little sister's coming arriving in about 10 hours...kinda excited.  We only gets to see them during summer vacation, so we really get excited everytime they go back home.



Last monday, i FINALLY got my copy of step and go...been a very long wait for me.  My very fisrt arashi cd...not goodies since i already have mini uchiwas of nino and sho.  Now, i have to wait for my happiness cd.  Hopefully, i wouln't wait that long to recieve it. 


Nodame Cantabile SP
So...so love this series.  SO damn funny neh!!  I was not that interested in buying the dvd ( quiapo dvd lang po ) at first.  But since i run out of jdorama series to buy, and since it says that nodame cantabile was a comedy dorama, i bought the dvd.  Thank god i did that coz i really enjoyed watching it.  The series was so funny.  Lead character Nodame is so kawaii.  wasn't a fan of Senpai Chiaki at first, but you'll grow to love him as the sho progress.  All in all, very enjoyable jdorama to watch.  Last wednesday, i went to Quiapo to exchange my anego dvd ( 3rd cd's blank ).  Was so happy to see that they already have a copy nodame cantabile sp, so i bought it.  As expected, the sp is also hilarious, never a dull moment.  one of my fave scene was when chiaki senpai was about to give up on nodame...coz he taught that she wasn't that serious bout her music i guess...and was very jealous, though acting as if he couldn't care less. anyways, they fought ( as in side kick and body slamming type of fight ) but in the end, made up, chiaki sempai finally understands how nodame really feels.


 Im not a classical music fan, but i enjoy watching and listeing to each and every performance in this series.  I especially love nodame's recital of "twinkle twinkle little star".  it was the only piece that i really know so it was really fun listening to it and was interesting to know that twinkle twinkle little start is not just an ordinary children song but a very beautiful classical music.  it was a very happy ending  for both lead character, where chiaki senpai last line was..."im going to pervert land" ( hehehe laugh so hard with this line!!!). :) :) :)

Last week....or 2 weeks ago, my ate bought this anime "yamato nadeshiko
shichihenge". while she was watching it, napasilip me sandali sa room
so nakinuod na din me for a while. the anime was so hilarious!!!

the story:



Kyouhei, Ranmaru, Takenaga, and Yukinojou are beautiful, handsome, young men living
in a huge mansion. One day, their landlord, whom they call "Auntie", asks them a favor:

I don't really like watching anime, pero watching this anime...graveh so fuuny talaga

Wow!! Graveh!!! It's been a very...very...long time since i last updated my
blog. So...where am am i busy?? Aside from making accessories and
some sideline drawings, i`ve been also busy surfing the net ( sa wakas, na
ka DSL na kami!!! ) and watching asianovela. Recently, i've been so ga-ga
with this taiwanese series SMILING PASTA.



It's a romance comedy,
highly recommended by me...well, if you prefer comedy than drama that is.
Anyways, i haven't finish watching the series coz im watching it through
youtube.com ( ahhh..yes...i just recenly descover youtube..though matagal na
syang ginagamit ng iba ) only. After watching the first 2 episode, the next
day, though i lack sleep, i went to divi just to look for a vcd/dvd of the said
series. Sad to say, no vcd/dvd available for this. Usually, ang mga may bago
lang eh koreanovela. So i have to watch it in youtube muna for now. Anyways,
really, really love the series.

Three weeks ago, i started this pinyata project for the birthday of my niece's cousin. Told my
sister-inlaw na it will be our ( de Toro family ) gift for the birthday boy. It will be the boy's 7th
birthday. Syempre, 7th birthday is the biggest birthday event for kids parang 18th birthday din
yan. And my sister-inlaw and her whole family is preparing for this, making give-aways,
invitations. Hangga ako sa family nila, they are all very close, kaya mga kapatid niya, pati kami
close na din sa kanila. That is why i offer to give the Palayok sana as our gift. Then, i told her
na what if we make a lika a pinyata spiderman, since spiderman is he's fave character. Both
of us are very excited with the idea. So i search the internet for the "how to make a pinyata".
Buti na lang that im a big fan of Art Attack so in a way, i have an idea how to make this pinyata
nga. So i bought the all the materials needed...like baloons, glue, newspaper, and poster paint.
Then i started making them na. Made a lot of error at first, syempre, trial and error yan. Finally,
after finishing the first spiderman head, i was excited to show my sister-inlaw the finished product.
She was very happy, maski ako tuwang-tuwa 'coz it turn-out okey naman. Here's the pic...



I was not hard to do it...kailangan lang talaga ng tyaga. Too bad tapos na mag-7th birthday ang
pamangkin ko and our bunso, love making them...nakakatuwa na makita yung pinag-hirapan mo.

Last last week, we went to Nagcarlan to get my Aunts padala for us. It was a very long trip, mas mahaba pa yung biyahe namin kesa sa stay namin dun. Anyways, habang nanduon kami, ipinasyal kami ng uncle namin sa church ng nagcarlan kung saan ng shoot ang kampanerang kuba. They we're selling shirts and candles. May kandila duon na binebenta din nila na replica nung kandila ni imang...buy agad ako...ang cute nung candle eh. Yun lang, share ko lang.



Naiinis ako sa cable provider namin. Before, inalis nila yung Nickolodon. Then last week, ibinalik nila. After two days, inalis na naman nila...kaasar!!! i love watching cartoons sa Nick, lalo na yung hey arnold, as told by ginger, rugrats, the wild thornberrys at iba pa. Mas type ko sya kesa sa mga anime. Haaay...asar talaga.

Doing nothing as usuall...but watched the movie Click starring Adam Sandler. Bought the dvd three weeks ago but didn't even bother watching it coz been busy watching cold case, ghost whisperer and prison break ( not at the same time ofcourse :P . Anyways, so i watched Click nga, coz was lazy to make another accessories and too lazy to draw the damn stair details so watch na lang ang lola. The movie was okey, not that funny like adam's other movie but it's not that dull naman to watch. The movie is about a man who wish he has a universal remote control...he doesn't know which remote is for which. And so he was given one, a universal remote control of his life. He can rewind, fastforward his life. But what he didn't know that all his choices in using the remote control has it's consequences. So, sakakafast-forward nya...later on, the remote fastforward itself...hanggang sa tumanda na sya. Got a little teary when he died. It was when he realize that family is more important thant anything.....aaaawwwww. Yun lang. As i've said, the movie's okey, nag-enjoy naman ako kahit papano. Till my next movie update :) :) :)

Three weeks ago, me and my ate went to Divisoria, then to quiapo. That is where we discover DVD 9....dvd with six movies or a whole season of a series. Syempre pa, since its cheap and i love watching, buy naman kaming mga lola. I bought 4 series....Cold Case, Wonderful Life, Ghost Whisperer and Narnia (old version). I was surprise that the series was clear...there was other dvd kasi that is not clear when madamihan na.

Anyways, today, i spent my day watching Cold Case. I seen some of their episodes sa tv...Crime Suspence is having a back to back episode pa nga nito. Ever since napanuod ko ang CSI, nagugustuhan ko na ang mga ganitong tema ng show. In cold case, mga old unsolve crime ang sino-solve nila. May mga cases na predictable kung sino ang killer, and may mga time naman na till the end, you wouln't expect na sila pala ang pumatay. Another good thing about this series eh yung mga musical score nila....magaganda sya. Puro mga old songs since mga old cases na sya, but still...ganda pa din.

Naalala ko pala, when i watched the Narnia, the old version...Naku, kakastart pa lang nung movie...nakow!!! i stop the dvd agad. Start pa lang nung movie....looks boring na.

Just finished reading the book The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. A very nice novel. While watching Game ka na ba, Ms. Kris Aquino mention that she had read some of Paulo Coelho's book. The Author was recommended to her by Anne Curtis who happened to be her guest player that day. She thank Anne for that. And since then, i started hunting for Coelho's book. I got my first book, The Alchemist last june. But I was so busy that month that i haven't had the time to read it. After a month and a half having that book, i finally had the chance to read it and finished it in two days. :) :) :)

The Book is about a sheperd boy named Santiago and his treasure. It's a wonderful novel. The book make me think about my purpose in life. If i am reading the right omens. If im on the right path or am i choosing the path that was destined for me. Though it was a short novel, it was full of lessons and wisdom naman. Worth reading talaga!!

Im now reading another novel from Coelho's, 11 minutes. The book is about finding love. Hope that it has the same impact to me as the alchemist. :) :) :)
